Gyeonggi Innovation Center Holds '815 IR - Union Championship' to Select Outstanding Startups

The Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center (Gyeonggi Innovation Center) hosted the '27th Startup 815 IR-Union Championship' on November 28, in collaboration with the Gyeonggi Regional Small and Medium Business Administration.
This IR (Investor Relations) event was held in two tracks: SEED and NEXT. The first-place winners in each track will receive the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award, while the second and third-place winners will receive the Gyeonggi Regional Small and Medium Business Administration Commissioner’s Award. The awards ceremony will take place on December 20.
The 'Startup 815 IR' is a representative IR program held every Thursday at the Pangyo Startup Zone in Seongnam, South Korea. Organized by the Gyeonggi Innovation Center, it aims to discover startups seeking investment and match them with investors. The event operates differently each week, with the '815 IR-Union' track taking place on the fourth Thursday of every month.
The SEED track, which features startups in the seed stage, included the following companies:
- Evertreasure (AI-based data analysis for art investment brokerage services and global network solutions)
- Brainventures (Platform for automatically extracting content from charts and tables in natural language)
- Prelude Studio (Music resource platform that releases K-POP music simultaneously with distribution, "AdPrism")
- Hydrogen Butterfly (Lightweight, eco-friendly hydrogen fuel cell and control systems for aviation)
- MetaFarmers (AI-based agricultural robot automation solutions)
- Hawaii Company (AI-based hyper-personalized learning path solution "HawaiiClass")
- Currency United (AI-based online foreign exchange service supporting custom currency exchange rates)
- Maze (Real-time anonymized AIoT-based solution for collecting personalized big data from offline space visitors)
The NEXT track, which includes startups at the Pre-A or higher stage, featured the following companies:
- MyLink (Smart Factory integrated SaaS platform for small and medium-sized manufacturers)
- Moculartech (BBM and battery performance restoration technology for ensuring the safety and maintainability of reused batteries)
- Korean Deep Learning (Hyper-scale vision AI using ultra-large LVM models, DEEP IMAGE)
- AI Park (Multilingual avatar creation solution)
- Kims Reference (High-precision nanometer standard technology for microscope calibration materials)
- Furience (Advanced functional core integrated and intelligent brush solutions using ultra-fine, ultra-planar technology for semiconductor systems)
- Thoth (AI-based electric vehicle battery disassembly automation solution)
- Mobic New Material Technology (Plant-derived CNF to replace petrochemical materials)
Judges included representatives from companies such as Venturesquare, GenXis, Smilegate Investment, POSCO Technology Investment, Central Investment Partners, Lighthouse Investment, Bluepoint Partners, SparkLabs, Philosophy Ventures, and SYP.
A representative from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center stated, "This championship was a competition to identify the most outstanding startups in IR capabilities from the companies nurtured by Gyeonggi Innovation Center this year. Through regular IR events, we aim to activate the investment ecosystem, build customized investor networks for each field and growth stage, and create practical investment opportunities for startups to promote their stable growth."
